    About Fire Suppression Mechanism

How do I use the Guard-K Fire Blankets?

Step 1: Carefully and swiftly place the fire blanket over the burning lithium object. If necessary, gently toss the blanket over the fire to ensure it covers the flames completely.

    Step 2: Secure the Blanket
Once the fire blanket is covering the burning object, ensure it is tightly secured all around the edges. This helps to prevent oxygen from reaching the fire and aids in suffocating the flames.

Step 3: Leave the Fire Blanket On
For fires involving lithium objects, it is recommended to leave the fire blanket in place until the object can be safely transported to a designated fire-safe area. Do not attempt to remove the blanket until the fire has been fully extinguished and the object is cool to the touch.
